“What do I know about Karabakh?”
Dear Lithuanian students,
According to the activities of AYOL, we launch new project which we offer to local and international students to participate in the essay contest under the title “What do I know about Karabakh?”.
Therefore, AYOL in cooperation with the Embassy of Azerbaijan Republic in Lithuania, presents this chance for Lithuanian students.
Below, you can find the information about the participation requirements and prizes considered for the authors of the best essays.
Eligibility:
School pupils: 14-18 years old
Students and young researchers: 19-29 years old
Requirements:
1. Essays should not be more than 2000 words
2. Essays should be written in English
3. Essays should be written in Times New Roman shift and presented in PDF format to: azlit@ayol.lt until 12th of February, 2014
4. Following documents should be presented together with the essay:
a) Filled in Application form
b) CV
c) Scanned copy of ID/Passport
5. Lithuanian and foreign citizenship holders can participate in the contest
For the Authors of the best Essays
The jury commission will choose the best 3 essays, thoroughly checking the scientific validity of the written materials, literature reviews, references and historical resources that will be used.
Prizes:
1st place – 3000 Lt
2nd place – 2000 Lt
3rd place – 1000 Lt
The other participants will get stimulating presents from the Azerbaijan Embassy to Lithuania and 3 winner persons will be included into our priority list for visiting to Azerbaijan time-by time for any youth programmes.
